Black and soft white vertical chalk stripes in a fine quality wool blend double knit, deadstock from an Italian mill. Midweight, soft hand, smooth backside, slight crosswise stretch, stable, no rolling at the cut edge, will be easy to sew, no seam finish required. The weight is good for both tops and bottoms -  for a dress, t-shirt, tunic, cardi, light jacket or coat, vest, or soft pants.

Dry clean. Test a swatch if you want to hand launder and air dry. Steam press before sewing to remove any residual shrinkage.
